The idea of organizing this event came from a lady who is a dance instructor. Lampas team considered that is a great opportunity to join this event, and became the co-organizer.
The event took place within the "One Billion Rising" movement, in order to raise awareness of violence against women. The initiative was launched in 2012 by American writer Eve Ensler, herself a victim of domestic violence in childhood, being sexually, physically and mentally abused by her father. After she was cured of cancer, Eve wanted to start a campaign against violence against women through dance, so that the movement expanded in many countries with a special choreography. "Eve thought that if in a year there are a billion victims of abuse, a balance could be created if, at least once a year, a billion women - in fact, women and men - could dance, to raise them up.
The event started with the presentation of dance instructor, Mrs. Szabo Andrea, accompanied by Mrs. Renata Coznici. Szabo Andrea presented the idea of this event, part of One Billion Rising" movement, a global campaign, founded by Eve Ensler, to end rape and sexual violence against women and it was started in 2012.

Ask for help!" and "1 Billoon Rising Solidarity" danced synchronously for 12 minutes, on the songs "Break the Chain" (One Billion Rising), specific to the project, and "Touching the Void" (Banco de Gaia).
